Agents. What will they think of next? Sometimes they’ll perk up the listing photos of an empty house with pictures of a cute baby. Sometimes they’ll offer the services of an olfactory specialist to help the buyer come up with a personalized scent that captures the mood of a home which can then be diffused through the HVAC system. Then there’s the risqué route. It starts with strategically placed copies of 50 Shades of Gray and goes all the way up to this definitely not safe for work video.

But sometimes agents reach back in time for a little help with their listing promotions.

A long way back in time.

Texas real estate agent Casey Lewis decided his listing about 30 miles away from Dinosaur Valley State Park (a place where you can spot real dinosaur tracks) needed a little help from someone in a dinosaur costume. That led to a listing video with someone dressed up as a T-Rex going about a typical day in a two-bed, two-bath house that is just under 800 square feet and on the market for $89,900. Cooking, mowing, napping. The usual activities for an apex predator.

The trick must have worked since the video went viral almost immediately. Lewis told Realtor.com, “The listing has been featured on local news, shared hundreds of times on social media, and I’ve received calls from all over the country asking for information about the property.” But most importantly, the home went under contract in two days.

Here is the video, in all its bipedal carnivorous glory.
